Rocky

This handsome guy is Rocky. He is a big, happy boy who likes balls, chew toys, and comfy dog beds. Rocky enjoys going for car rides and really looks forward to his daily walks. He is a smart boy who already knows sit and down. Rocky takes his treats gently and comes running when called. While he does get along with other large dogs, he would love a home where he could be the center of attention. His previous owners left him behind when they moved so he has some separation anxiety. Because he is very clumsy and does not know his own size, he should not go to a home with small children. Rocky does not do well with cats or small dogs. Can you give this great boy the secure forever home he's waiting for?

Max

Please note - Max has just come into rescue and will soon be available for adoption. Those sad eyes belong to Max, he was taken to the Humane Society when the owner's were foreclosed. He came to us from Ohio, his family did not do poor Max any favors by over-feeding him. He weighed in at 155 lbs on a frame that should carry half that amount of weight. Max can barely walk, has trouble getting up, laying down or doing stairs. Max has a tumor on his neck and lumps and bumps all over his body from being obese. We will have many medical bills trying to get Max back to a healthy state. His foster Mom Monique is dedicated to making him well again. He is a huge snuggle bug and loves to have lots of pets and kisses. He has touched the hearts of everyone who has met him. If you think you might be interested in Max, please fill out the online application.

Brett

Hello...My name is Brett & I am a big beautiful White German Shepherd that needs to be adopted. I had a rough life before coming to my foster families house. I really like people & kids. I am OK with cats. I like other female dogs but really am leary of other males especially ones that are not neutered. I love my sister very much & I would love to stay with her so maybe you might be looking for 2 dogs. I need a fenced in yard so I can run & have fun just being a dog. I do like to go for walks but I have not had alot of experience with it. I love to be cuddled, brushed, pet & talked to. I have a good appetite & I am very house broken. I come right away when i am called. I really want to find the place where I can say " Finally I am home" Is it your home? If you are interested in Brett or both Brett and Deanna please go to www.whitepawsgsr.com and fill out our online application. If you have any question please email Nancy at calspence@aol.com or call 920-606-2597 for more information.

Deanna

Hello I am Deanna. I am a spayed female white German Shepherd. I am Brett's sister. I am very shy & afraid when I do new experiences. I have had a litter of pups or two. I was not treated very nicely from my previous owner. My foster family keeps things pretty stable for me & if I am going to do something new they let me do it real slow & reassure me that I will be fine. I am very playful & loving after I know that you won't hurt me. I love to go for walks, play, run, be brushed & hugged. I am very house broken. I like cats but I am afraid of other dogs at first. Once I know that they won't hurt me, I like them alot. I am a good watch dog & I keep my property in check. I did get out once but I came running right away when I was called. I would love to stay with my brother as I have been with him since as long as I can remember & he watches out for me. Maybe you can find room for 2 dogs. I am learning what toys are & I really like them. Can You Love Me? If you are interested in Deanna or both Brett and Deanna, please fill out the online application. Snow & Shep

Shep and Snow are Senior White German Shepherds. There is a little mix in both of them, with Snow showing more than Shep. Snow is a 8 year old female and is wearing the red collar. She is in the foreground. Shep is a 9 year old male and has the blue collar on and is standing in back. They both came to WhitePaws from Ohio where they lived together for 7 years on a farm. They have been outside all their life and are now enjoying the same in the rescue. Snow is much more inquisitive than Shep. She is always checking everything out. She enjoys being petted and after a bit will lay down, roll over and ask for a belly rub. Shep is more laid back. He somewhat follows Snow around. They are both learning some basic commands as well as riding in a car. They have a wonderful white coat that is soft as can be. Growing up together, we would like to keep these two together as a pair. If you have a large fenced in yard and would like to give these two a home, please fill out the online application.
